Clarification for Recognizing NFME Students’ Level and Credit Transferring

U Mya Kyaw, NFPE (MLRC) Assistance General Manager explained basically the recognizing NFME students’ level and credit transferring process. According to this clarification,

  • Every single subjects of students points specify to Grade Number (GN) according to below description;
    • Above 75 points —- GN-5
    • 65-74 —————— GN-4
    • 55-64 —————— GN-3
    • 40-54 —————— GN-2
    • Under 40 ————— GN-1
  • The individual subjects’ GN would be multiplied with credit unit in order to calculate the Grade Point (GP). The credit unit for Myanmar Subject is 4, English Subject is 5, Mathematics Subject is 5, General Science Subject is 4, etc.
  • The combination point from every subjects’ GP would be divided by the total number of subjects to get Grade Point Average.
  • Then, the collating of average from total Grade Point Average would be reached to Commulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).
  • Based on the CGPA point, the specification of students’ level are as below;
    • Above 5 to 6 …………. A
    • 4 to 4.5 ……………….. B
    • 3 to 3.5 ……………….. C
    • 2 to 2.5 ……………….. D

    The filling of credit would be responsible for the subject’s teacher and it is need to take acknowledged confirmation from NFME’s committee to gain the certificate for each NFME students.
